I washed the kitchen floor 2 and a half times today.
I had to.
The first time around, I was just making mud.
I cooked on the grill for the first time all by myself because it will be our kitchen for the next year.
Which should make Christmas dinner pretty lively.

Hey, Jeanne--
I was telling my hubby about your house, and we were wondering why you can't use your kitchen in its current state? Do the appliances not work or have they been ripped out?

Hi KW--
Well, the dishwasher doesn't work. The stove doesn't work well. And the kitchen windows are glued shut making it enormously hot in here (with no A/C).

grilling can definitely be done year round. our palestinian-christians friends tell us they grill all year!
also- when luke and i lived in 5122 and our gas was turned off- we survived using the coleman stove to cook. best darn grilled cheeses!
