Do women want diamonds and pearls? And silk dresses? Or furs?
(Double-click on any of the above to take a closer look...they are from a copy of Harper's Bazaar)
Nope. Nope. Nope.
This is what women want.
Yes! Yes! Yes!
If we are going to be putting up a house FULL of blueboard, this is what women want.
DeWalt DW260K Heavy Duty Variable Speed Reversing All Purpose Screwdriver Kit with a depth-sensitive "set and forget" nosepiece for consistent fastener depth.
Or, THIS woman, anyway ;)
And this is nice too. I got this for Christmas last year.

What *is* that thing with the flowered handle? A soldering iron? A screwdriver?

That is a screwdriver. Yes, an actual screwdriver...FOR GIRLS. I held it up to our current collection of screwdrivers and, while the thought was nice, I don't think it would last me a day.
But it is the most, um, colorful (?) one we have :)
A woman who is beginning to try to capitalize on the "home improvement...it's not just for guys anymore" marketing movement is Barbara K! Though a step in the right direction of gender equality in the mechanical arts, it still doesn't beat a nice chop saw or a superfine set of chisels. Because nothing makes me feel more like a lady than using the SawzAll while wearing a little Allure from Chanel daubed on each wrist...
(My love affair with Allure goes back to a backpacking trip I took around a small part of Europe on my 30th birthday...alone, first time over...as a present to myself WAY before I met Aaron. A little shop in Annecy was selling perfume not available yet in the states (Allure). I usually only splurge on tools but I was overcome. And spent my walking around money for the week on a little bottle. Never regretted it. Never regretted the tools either. Ladies, you CAN do everything :)

YES!
It sure makes the rock go up quicker, especially on the ceiling. It will set the screws so they will be longing for the mud. *g*
Have fun!
