And here's a shout out (or a bark out) from Scout to Coco. Coco and Scout would like everyone to know that older dogs make wonderful companions. So if you're in the market for a new pet, ask your local rescue about their senior dogs. Puppies are cute, but older dogs are much less likely to eat your furniture!

Adult dog adoptions (and cats)...whoo hoo! Local rescue shelters are a big help! So are "foster shelters" which work with specific breeds...
Yes, puppies are adorable. And SO many adult dogs need love and (more often) some consistency in their lives. Adopt an adult pet today!
