Well, we survived the delivery of the 5/8" drywall through the front windows of the second floor. Barely. My nerves are still recovering.
Walls are up. This is pre-taping and pre-mudding.
With funky angles and openings galore.
This stuff is SOOOOOOO heavy. The acrobatics required to actually get this on the ceiling still boggle me.
And hey! Walls! How about that? It's been awhile.

That looks great - must feel good to see a continous, smooth surface! The skylights are nice, I hadn't noticed those before.

Drywalling is always my favourite part of house-building (or renovating!). I'm bad at visualising what spaces will look like, so actually seeing the "walls" go up is cool. Having said that...it looks fabulous! You're going to have such a great space, with all those windows and skylights. It's going to be a gorgeous room when it's done. :)

Wow, i know it is really exciting to see some progress. The board being up makes it so easy to see how great the room is going to be in a very short time.

you have a lot of seams to mud and tape, you should have used 4 by 12 sheets.

Hmm. We did use 4 x 12 sheets.
