Well that was no fun. Both J and I have been just run ragged over the last week. We've each had packed days at our respective jobs, come home late every night, and gone to bed exhausted. Wake up the next day...repeat steps 1 through 3.
All that said, we were obviously looking forward to a Saturday morning with nothing to do but sleep in...
Of course, that would be a morning when Coco decides to bark for no reason every ten minutes starting at 7am. That would be why I'm here blogging out in the living room where she can see me. It seems to be calming her down.
I think I'll do the same...

Me too. Ever since our cat was diagnosed with kidney failure his hunger is never ending. Frequent cans of wet food are keeping him healthy - vet was really surprised he's doing so well. Anyway, I am now his food source on demand and on non-work days he meows every two seconds until I get up and feed him.
I am thinking of going to salvage yards today and hunt for old hex tiles and bathroom fixtures. Can't think of a better saturday activity, can you?

I read last week that 40% of people who seek help for a sleeping disorder say their pets keep them awake. Thats why I'm sending the two dogs, two cats, and the kid to live with the neighbor. That way when he decides to mow while its still dark outside (in the summer), he can feed them all first.
