I'm sore. Sunday was completely focused on completing the trim that hadn't been stripped yet...mainly the long baseboard pieces.

I'd hoped to spend at least a few hours applying some stain to those, but by the time I finished with everything it was about 8:30 Sunday night. Should have guessed as much.
That means that we'll have to put extra effort in over the Labor day weekend, which is fine because we don't have any plans at this point anyway. Funny how when you've got a big home improvement project like this you look at the holidays mainly as a chance to get extra work done... Sigh.

Yep, it feels like a waste of vacation time if we don't get some work done on the house! :)

I know! I know! That's what we are doing this weekend too- but we try to fit a little fun in too- even if we are tired while having it. :)

Oh how familiar this sounds. Every little extra bit gets spent on the house. In our case, it's on the extra jobs so we can get extra money to put into the house. One day we'll move in...
