OK, so now that the cat's out of the bag, we've added a new progress tracker to our home page--the nursery. :-) We'd designed the second bedroom upstairs to be pretty flexible, so instead of an office it's going to be the little tyke's room for a while.

Certainly we aren't the only ones who work on fixing up a nursery in preparation for the big event...but we're guessing we're one of the few who can say we've already been working on the room for a year!

Congratulations! I don't know how you guys managed to keep it a secret for so long! I would probably be shouting it from the rooftops (or typing it in all caps) the second I found out. But I've never been good with the secrets. :)
I can't wait to read all about the nursery plans.

Nurseries are a lot of fun to do, but we actually never used ours. Frederick ended up sleeping in our room and then we moved. But had we stayed in the same house, he likely would have outgrown his nursery theme before he started sleeping in there. But don't get me started on that.

I'm giggling as I'm reading Aaron's entry. Because "doing the nursery" (to us, anyway) means making sure the windows have weatherstripping, that there is a light fixture and we need two doors. And that is, um, about it. :)
