I know the feeling. My house is one big tool box. I can't wait to get the basement fixed the way I want it and move everything down there and have it organized to find everything easily. I'm tired of buying the same thing 3 times because I can't find the first 2 that I bought! :)

Another option: leave the mitre saw in the dining room and invite the guests to bring over any wood pieces they have that need a mitre cut . . .
