Well, at just over two weeks old now Grace passed her first test as the child of DIY home renovators. This afternoon I was able to pound nails and use an electric screwdriver while she slept in the room next door, oblivious to it all.
If only Jeannie and I could learn that same trick. :-)

When my daughter was born three years ago, my friend said, "Get her accustomed to sleeping soundly through noise." It was great advice and it has helped us to be so much more productive since we moved into our house eighteen months ago. You guys are so ahead of the curve...

The noise is probably familiar from the last nine months! Glad to hear that she sleeps through it all.
I guess that's where the phrase, "sleeps like a baby," comes from!
