Houseblogging in the Wall Street Journal

Category:

This Friday's edition of the Wall Street Journal includes a pretty nice article on houseblogging, including a reference to this site and to the other site we manage: Houseblogs.net.

The article focuses on an interview the reporter did with Jeannie...and since I thought she might be too self conscious about it I thought I'd mention it here. :-)

It features nice write-ups and some excellent photos from people blogging about their renovations and home improvement adventures.

The blogs mentioned are great, but I know Jeannie cringed when the reporter called them "her favorites." (Worried that everyone would think those were the only houseblogs that she liked. Or that she played favorites.) The fact is, she gave the reporter a much longer list of houseblogs and her goal was to cover a range of home styles, geographies and projects. So...

If you're visitng this site because of the article and are interested in home improvement, here are a couple of links you can use to find houseblogs that might be of interest to you:

House Styles
- Bungalows
- Ranch homes
- Victorians
- Log Cabins

Projects

- Kitchens
- Bathrooms
- Woodworking

Locations

- New York
- Minneapolis
- California
- Chicago
- Seattle

If none of those links fit your needs, go on over to the Houseblogs.net home page and use the 'find people like you' link along the right to search for other topics. There's lots of good stuff out there!
