...and the earth moved. Glorious lakehouse.
Oh. That was an earthquake? Huh. Well, I still think this space is amazing.
(Eh, who am I kidding? I slept right through the earthquake. In fact, I went to bed at 9:30 pm and slept like the dead. If the dead had expired from chasing a hyperactive midget, that is. I'm thinking about tying weights to her ankles. Give myself a fighting chance.)
By the way? Worst neighbor of the year? This guy.

We slept through it too; and usually at least one of us wakes up around that time. I like to think it's because our house is just so well built that not even an earthquake will rattle it!

When one crook asks another crook for something, they usually get it. It is terrible that they let him build that prison-looking building in that neighborhood -- I certainly wouldn't call it a castle or a home!

There is no accounting for taste -- or lack of it. What an ugly building in the middle of a great neighborhood!

I adore that little lakehouse loft! The castle on the other hand, also makes me miss the a-hole neighbor that prompted me to move across town. There is no fence high enough....
Can you imagine waking up every morning knowing that everyone can't stand you?
